MEET MOCHA LEE
Mocha Lee is one of the country’s top fitness professionals with eighteen years of experience. She is the first African-American to win the Ms. Galaxy title. Mocha is also the first fitness host of “Heart & Soul”, Black Entertainment Television (BET's) exclusive health, beauty and fitness show, which aired from 1998 – 2001. A trailblazer in the industry, Mocha inspires other to strive towards achieving overall wellness, and her mission is to encourage and educate on how to build a strong mind, body and spirit.
Despite the busy schedule of her multi-faceted career, Mocha is involved with numerous other projects. She is the founder and CEO of "Mocha Lee Fitness", a personal training and fitness consulting company based in the Washington DC area. She is also the chair of the Vansville PTA “Family Fun Run”, a non-profit group which combats childhood obesity. As the mother of two active girls ages eleven and almost seven years old, Mocha has placed special emphasis on supporting kids and their parents who need encouragement and direction to maintain a healthy lifestyle, while balancing the hectic pace of their lives. Mocha is a certified personal trainer, part-time TV personality, writer and an active member of her local church. Mocha has become known as a national authority in the world of fitness, who gives “tried and true” practical advice and consultation.
